2015 DHI UK & Ireland Symposium:
Knowledge sharing for water and environmental professionals

Website: www.dhi-uk.info/symposium
Date: 21st and 22nd April 2015
Venue: Macdonald Ansty Hall, Coventry, CV7 9HZ (www.macdonaldhotels.co.uk/our-hotels/macdonald-ansty-hall/)
Cost: Free event
Registration: www.dhi-uk.info/register

The Symposium is a free-of-charge knowledge sharing event for water and environmental professionals comprising both conference-style presentations on Day 1 and workshop-style training sessions on Day 2. The conference is open to everyone and you certainly do not need any experience with the MIKE software to come along and join in. The Symposium offers the chance to meet people in both formal sessions as well as over dinner and during breakout sessions. You will also be able to meet the local DHI support team and DHI staff from Head Office, as well as your contemporaries from consultancy, academia and research.

The programme for both days is now complete and can be viewed here www.dhi-uk.info/programme (and below). Many thanks to all of you who have offered to give presentations. We really appreciate your efforts!

Gifts
As usual, there will be gifts available to all Symposium delegates which will allow you to either expand your current installation or get your new installation started.

Registration
Lots of delegates have already registered for the event but we still have spaces available. If you would like to come along to either day (or even better both!), please register here as soon as possible www.dhi-uk.info/register.

As usual, our Symposium is free of charge and participants will receive lunch and refreshments on both days. Also included is the conference dinner on the evening of the 21st April, which offers an opportunity for extended chat with everyone you have met at the event. Overnight accommodation is available at the venue for a special rate of £87.50 per person per night and includes breakfast.

We very much hope to see you at what will undoubtedly be a very interesting and informative event.

Steve, Suzie and Mark

Welcome to DHI UK

DHI is an independent, international consulting and research organisation with the global objective of advancing technological development and competence with respect to water, in all of its environments.

Worldwide, we offer a wide range of consulting services and leading edge technologies, software tools, environmental laboratories, and physical model test facilities, as well as field surveys and monitoring programmes. Designated as a not-for-profit organisation, DHI is able to invest a considerable portion of its resources in research and development. Today we co-operate with many Universities, and research organisations, and are recognised globally for our innovation and expertise.

In the UK, DHI offers niche or specialist consultancy services in the water and environment market to government agencies, commercial entities and selected research organisations. We fulfil a research based specialist advisor role; a ‘Consultant to the Consultants’. We also supply and support the renowned MIKE by DHI suite of integrated water modelling tools.

MIKE by DHI software is the result of years of experience and dedicated development and has, in many regions, become the standard modelling tool. It transforms our science into practice and gives you the competitive edge and, through the DHI Academy, you can rest assured that there is a local team of highly skilled experts committed to train and support you every step of the way.

MIKE by DHI truly models the world of water - from mountain streams to the ocean and from drinking water to treatment plant and beyond.
